This recipe is inspired by huli huli chicken a Hawaiian dish that features grilled chicken that is turned frequently during cooking ("huli" is the Hawaiian word for "turn") and topped with a sweet and savory sauce. In this vegetarian version we replace the chicken with cabbage wedges and although the cabbage is only turned once the sauce remains similar to the carrots.
