Hyper-V isn't going anywhere, despite persistent rumors insisting it's being shut down. For those concerned about Broadcom's changes to VMware, Hyper-V remains a viable alternative. But where do these rumors come from? and what is the difference between Windows Server and Hyper-V Server?
