One of the first things I ever learned to make was deviled eggs. I loved helping my mother make a bowl of eggs because it always meant something special was going to happen usually a holiday and more importantly she would let me scrape the filling out of the bowl.
As a child I probably messed up more eggs than I successfully peeled. Over time I learned how to peel an egg so that it stays intact with the white and no nicks.
