Every now and then Trader Joe's has a recipe contest (remember those delicious banana sandwich cookies? I do!). The last contest was burger-themed and the results were announced just in time for Labor Day weekend. I tried the winning recipe and I'm here to tell you to do the same.
The "Italiano Burger" submitted by Anthony Trifilio lives up to its name. Using only Trader Joe's products it's a burger that's more of a meatball sub than a burger. But am I complaining? No no I'm not. And neither are my neighbors who gobbled up their burgers in seconds.
