Between my time as a food editor and sustainable lifestyle writer I’ve tried a lot of different reusable food containers over the years. I’ve used them to store leftovers in the freezer bake individual desserts in the oven or microwave pack road trip snacks and store delicate ingredients in the fridge. I’ve also dropped plenty of them on the kitchen floor both accidentally and for testing. The few favorites I’ve compiled all have one thing in common: They’re made of glass.
