We revisit this topic from a different angle, since using 128 GB in 2021 is practically impossible. In this video I show you how to upgrade your MacBook pro 2017 with a massive 1TB SSD upgrade. It's faster, cheaper and easier! This is the best way to get rid of startup disk error if there is a complete error on your Mac. This SSD upgrade works with Macbook A1708, Macbook Pros 2016 and 2017! I bought a cheap SSD enclosure and a Sabrent 2242 SSD with 1TB of storage, and installed it in the MacBook, replacing the proprietary drive that came with it. There's no doubt that my girlfriend is going to love having a lot more storage on her MacBook.
