You are in emergency mode. After logging in, type /"journalctl -xb/" to view the system logs, /"systemctl reboot/" to reboot, /"systemctl default/" or /"exit/" to boot in default mode.

Unable to open console access, root account is locked. See the sulogin(8) man page for more details.
How to fix /"unable to open console access, root account is locked/"?
@gnh1201 said: I recently encountered this problem, but only got answers that didn't help. Then I was able to get a hint from the Linux forum's brief review.
This problem is linked to changing the variator. If this is not correctly reflected in /etc/fstab, such an error may occur.
Download SystemRescueCD and create a bootable disk: https://www.system-rescue.org/
FDISK and MOUNT
# fdisk -l # find drive
# mkdir /mnt/tmp
# mount -t ext4 /dev/sda2 /mnt/tmp # mount -t [filesystem] [drive] [mount point]
Open the [mountpoint]/etc/fstab in the text editor and delete the lines of deleted devices
Save and reboot, then delete the startup disk.
Do.
