Indian pudding
My first encounter with Indian Pudding was over 30 years ago at Durgin Park a well-known restaurant in Faneuil Hall in Boston. The restaurant was known for its home-style Yankee cooking and its then-grumpy eighty-something waitresses.
There are few desserts that look so unappealing yet taste so incredibly delicious!
One bite of this lumpy brown goo with a little vanilla ice cream and I was sold. Scraped the last bit out of the bowl.
