Installing and creating XFCE themes on LMDE Linux Mint Debian Edition with XFCE

Linux Mint Debian Edition is only available in Cinnamon DE, but many other versions can be installed from the Debian repository. Here we install XFCE and theme it to look like the standard Mint XFCE.
