![iOS 15: How to Create an Email Address Using Hide My Email Keep Your Home Address Private](https://ytimg.googleusercontent.com/vi/SZv1jCHpDH8/hqdefault.jpg)
In iOS 15, you now have the option to easily hide your emails when signing up for an app or mailing list, etc. This is an iCloud option which is a paid plan.
To use this feature, simply go to any website that will ask for your email. We are going to subscribe to a newsletter. Here your phone should automatically recognize the email field and offer to hide your email. When you tap it, a menu will appear offering you a randomly generated email address. Tap the refresh button next to it to get a new one, or Continue to save it and use it. You will also have the option to give it a rating so you can remember what it is for. Tap Use.
You can see all previously generated emails by going to Settings – Your Name – iCloud – Hide My Email
This is a great way to avoid subscribing your email to a newsletter you can't unsubscribe from. This way spammers won't know your real email address.
How often do you sign up for apps or newsletters? Let us know in the comments below.
