how to hide and lock apps on iPhone home screen. This is Karly and I will guide you to hide all third-party apps downloaded from the App Store. and access via Face ID; If Face ID is disabled, we can use the code to hide the app, access the hidden app and show the app.
Let's check how it works?
First, go to your iPhone's home screen, tap and hold the app icon until the pop-up with Require Face ID option appears.
Tap the Hide and Require Face ID option again.
During this time, Face ID will be required to open the app or use Siri with it. or Notification previews and spotlights will not display app content.
Verify with your Face ID and tap the Hide app.
This hidden app icon and name for hidden apps in your app library.
Now the app has disappeared from the home screen; we can't search from Spotlight search.
To access, move to the App Library by swiping right and tapping the hidden folder.
Check your Face ID and see the hidden folder appear in the app, you hide it.
And start the app using Face ID. That's it.
To show the app permanently, long-press the app icon and tap Don't require Face ID.
Verify with your Face ID. and Your app will appear under the App Library, but not on the Home screen.
Now tap and hold on the app icon again to see an option to add to the home screen.
Now your app will appear on the Home screen and in the App Library.
