If Boot Camp requires an optical drive and you can't create a USB drive with Windows, follow my steps and you will solve this problem.

Open in TextEdit Info.plist, then search for
Models supported by PreUSBBoot
and delete /"Pre/"
you have USBBootSupportedModels
Save and open Boot Camp.

Also, if Boot Camp doesn't want to show you Windows 10, you can change it
PreWindows10OnlyModels, same as above, remove /"Pre/" or remove this rule entirely
Finally, you have Windows10OnlyModels.

If you have an old Mac, check this one, you can remove all code from Win7OnlyModels if it is not available to download Windows 8.1 or 10.
