I love fig preserves from my tree but I haven't come across many recipes for using the preserves on this site. So I'm submitting one of my family's favorites. This one is quick and easy yet so delicious. You can use any type of fruit preserve or jam or fresh fruit cooked in sugar to make a syrup base. Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
