This sultry flatbread makes a unique appetizer or can be served in wedges to complement a main course. After attending summer BBQs and potlucks where I first tasted this unique bread I convinced my Middle Eastern friend to ask her mom for this recipe. While not spicy at all Za’atar which is common in Lebanese cuisine is a blend of many spices that will make your taste buds sing. I often slice this flatbread into bite-sized pieces and serve it with small individual bowls of good quality extra virgin olive oil for dipping. Double dipping is possible this way!
