Manufacturing of the first modular lithium battery recycling plant EVSX completed

St-Georges Eco-Mining has completed manufacturing the first of three modular battery preparation plants for its EVSX lithium battery recycling facility in Ontario, Canada.

The first plant, with a maximum capacity of 7,900 tonnes per year, meets Canadian safety standards and is expected to be dismantled and shipped to the Thorold facility after inspection. The other two factories are expected to be ready for inspection in April, bringing the total processing capacity for all types of batteries to 24,000 tonnes per year. The company is awaiting environmental clearance to begin processing the batteries and is in talks to acquire additional raw materials.
