Creating an income with recipe videos
Here's the deal with these monthly reports:
We started doing these reports three years ago as an experiment. Lindsay and I wanted to see if it was possible to generate income from a food blog. Some people said yes and some people said no.
Our first month of revenue was $21.97. That didn’t include fees so we probably ended up losing money that month. We weren’t deterred. (Actually we were a little deterred but…) We continued to publish a report every month outlining the things that were and weren’t working when trying to build and monetize a blog. It’s important to note that none of this happened overnight. As I mentioned we’ve been doing these reports for over three years and Lindsay has been working on the blog (almost) every day for exactly five years.
