These Italian-seasoned meatballs are made with two parts ground beef and one part Italian sausage. Minced garlic dried basil and grated Parmesan cheese give the meatballs a perfect flavor. The meatballs are baked or grilled a method we find much easier (and less messy) than frying.

Do not use glass bakeware when grilling or when a recipe calls for adding liquid to a hot pan as glass can explode. Even if it says it is oven-safe or heat-safe tempered glass products can occasionally break.
Serve meatballs with spaghetti or linguine and a mixed salad and add the Parmesan cheese. They would also make fantastic meatball sandwiches.
These meatballs are delicious stewed in store-bought or homemade spaghetti sauce. Double the recipe and freeze a few for another day for a quick meal.
