Meghan Glass is a professional chef who has always looked for ways to help her community through food relief. She has loved the art of cooking ever since she saw Julia Child roast veal as a young child. After working in other fields she decided to return to school to pursue her true passion for food.

Meghan attended Boston University in Massachusetts earning a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology. After six years working in health services data and public policy research she returned to Boston to enroll in Metropolitan College’s Food & Wine Program. She earned a Master of Liberal Arts in Gastronomy and a Certificate in the Culinary Arts Program where she studied with chefs including Karen Akunowicz Chris Fischer and Jacques Pépin.
While in the Culinary Arts Program at Boston University she completed an internship at Barbara Lynch's South End restaurant Stir where she learned the art of hospitality and entertaining. Meghan then moved on to a position at Sur La Table where she cooked and learned alongside chefs and worked private events eventually earning her Alcohol Handling and Serving Certification.
Looking for a different experience in Boston's culinary scene Meghan joined Food For Free a nonprofit that specializes in food rescue and reuse in Massachusetts while finishing her degree.
