Microsoft Edge browser freezes, hangs, crashes or not working

Part of Microsoft's default offering, the new Edge Chromium browser is less prone to crashes, freezes, or unexpected shutdowns. However, complaints related to these events are reported on forums and community pages. Here is what you can do if the browser is not working as you want or if the Edge browser crashes or crashes.

1] Set browser and tabs start page to: blank, disable feeds.

2] Delete Edge browser cache etc.

3] Disable or remove an incompatible extension

4] Refresh/Edit Edge via Settings

5] Reset Edge via Browser

6] Disable hardware acceleration
