Microsoft Surface Pro 9 5G (SQ3) review: A beautiful lie

The 5G version of Microsoft's Surface Pro 9 is a nice hybrid tablet PC, but its custom ARM processor severely limits its performance and app compatibility. It's much more usable than any previous ARM Surface, but it's not worth paying extra over the faster Intel model.

Benefits:
– Excellent AI webcam features
– Excellent hardware design
– Magnificent 13-inch screen
– Convenient removable SSD
– Integrated 5G

The inconvenients:
– ARM chip results in generally slow performance
– Some compatibility issues with older apps and games
– More expensive than the faster Intel model
– Still suffers from ergonomic issues with Surface
