There are so many up and coming local food businesses here in Austin… good people making great things with the absolute best ingredients. So when the folks at Moonshine Sweet Tea reached out to me I was over the moon (bad pun sorry) because this is exactly the kind of business I want to support… Family owned and operated check. Locally made check. Great typography check check.
The recipe has been passed down for 4 generations. It is handmade in small batches with real organic tea leaves. The sweet tea is very concentrated… mix a dash of it with water and drink it cold or hot. I also love to mix it with vodka and a dash of lemon. (note: there is no real moonshine in the tea it's just a fun name).
