When your Android won't connect to Wi-Fi, the first thing you should do is turn off and then turn Wi-Fi back on on your phone. This will sometimes resolve a minor software issue. Then, unplug your router and plug it back in to restart it. Restarting your Android may also fix a minor software issue.

Next, try connecting to another Wi-Fi network. If your Android won't connect to any Wi-Fi networks, there is a problem with your phone. If your Android can't connect to your home Wi-Fi network, there's a problem with your Wi-Fi router. What if your Android says it's connected to Wi-Fi, but you can't to connect to the Internet, there is probably a problem with your wireless router.

To resolve a problem with your wireless router, try resetting it. There is a small reset button on the back of most wireless routers that you can press. If you are unsure how to do this, contact your router manufacturer.

Disabling your VPN can sometimes resolve minor internet connectivity issues.

To fix a more serious software problem, try resetting the network settings on your Android. This resets all Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and mobile data settings on your Android, so be sure to write down your Wi-Fi passwords first!
