The first time I had authentic Swiss fondue was at the home of a friend of mine's cousin in Lucerne Switzerland.
We were traveling during Semana Santa the holy week or for us the spring break from our classes in Madrid and I had never tasted such an amazing fondue. It was made with just grated cheese a little wine a little flour and then it was finished off with a dash of cherry kirsch. It was so delicious and yet so simple.
