I used to make these with my mom when I was little. She would make dozens of them a week and give them to the neighborhood kids. I would spread that oh good frosting on them. I won a blue ribbon with this recipe. It was featured and printed in newspapers all over the US. Then it was voted one of the 100 best recipes for the Members Choice cookbook of 2011.
