If you're wondering what's next for your Apple devices, we have news. The company, known for its landmark designs and extraordinary inventions, tests new inventions. Here's what's going to change next on your Apple devices.

Apple has left watchmakers and industry cynics stunned with the launch of thinner, more powerful iPads without compromising performance. The iPhone maker is now upping the game by making its models even lighter.

Get ready for sleeker iPhones, Macbooks, and even Apple Watches. According to a Bloomberg report, Apple is implementing the “Thin Is In” philosophy on almost all of its devices.

What does that mean? This means that Apple's new gadget line will likely be the lightest and smallest in the tech sector. But not just any thin ones, the thinnest in their respective categories. There are rumors of an “iPhone 17 Slim” version… highlighting Apple’s continued efforts to produce smaller smartphones.

Here's what we know so far from early reports.

The iPhone 16 series is expected to release in September this year and Apple is likely to forgo the slimmer design. Apple is working on a 2025-only "iPhone Slim" variant, which will bring the first major design change to the iPhone lineup after the iPhone X.

A very thin iPhone could be released by 2025. The “Slim” iPhone should cost more than the iPhone Pro Max. Other big surprises will include Apple's entry into the foldable smartphone industry.

Apple is also expected to launch a new foldable smartphone by 2026. A new 7.9-inch foldable iPhone will stand out from other foldable models available on the market with its “wraparound” design.

Finally, Apple is also working to reduce the size of the MacBook and Apple Watch, which are expected to enter production in the next two years.

The company's recent launch of the ultra-thin iPad Pro showcases its ability to pack high performance and new features into a slim form factor. This approach is expected to extend to other Apple devices, including future iPhones, MacBook Pros and Apple Watches.

Where will these devices be manufactured? Remember, iPhones are exclusively manufactured in India and China, with estimates suggesting that 14-15% of production has already moved to India, and this figure is expected to rise to 26% by 2026.

In FY24, Apple's overall production in India reached a staggering 14 billion or Rs 1.2 Lakh crore, while the company's exports crossed 10 billion or Rs 85 000. Buoyed by this surge, experts predict that the tech giant will cross the Rs 1 lakh cr export milestone in FY25, making India its second largest iPhone manufacturing hub outside of China.

It would not be presumptuous to believe that India will play a pivotal role in delivering these sleeker and improved next-generation devices.
