Today I'm going to talk about all the new information we've received about version 4.8. This includes a free character, 2 new skins, one of which is free, and lots of other cool stuff.
As usual, during the summer event there will be new skins. This time, the skins will be for Nilou and Kirara.
Nilou's new outfit looks like a princess dress and is mostly white. The horn decorations will remain the same as before. You will need to purchase this costume and it will be available in the in-game store at the start of the main event.
You can get Kirara's new skin for free by completing the main event. If you don't have Kirara yet, good news! Kirara will also be given away for free during the 4.8 main event.
From the photos I've seen, Kirara and Nilou's skins have masks that look a lot like the Pyro Archon concept art we saw recently. So maybe the new outfits are related to Natlan? But don't take this too seriously, it's just a guess.
According to hxgdiluc, the main event will feature Kirara, Nilou, Wanderer and Navia. You may notice that there is no new skin for Wanderer, although early information suggests there will be. I think insiders thought we would have three skins in 4.8 because we had three in 4.4. Since the main characters are Kirara, Nilou, Wanderer and Navia, they expected the third skin to be for Wanderer since Navia was released recently. But unfortunately that didn't happen.
The new summer event and venue will be connected to Hexenzirkel, as before. hxg_diluc says that this area is based on a story from a book written by one of the witches.
The new location, divided into three large parts, is created in the style of Fontaine and partly Natlan. The first zone is represented by a dense forest with mountains and rivers, the second is a large island in the sea and a whole city on it, and the third looks like some kind of port far away from everything else. Additionally, many origami-type decorations will be encountered in the area.
Insiders have yet to share their guesses on the upcoming banners. But based on their past predictions, the banners could include Emilie, Wriothesley, Navia and Nilou or Shenhe.
In addition, the second season of the Imaginarium Theater begins on August 1. The challenge theme will change to elements of Hydro, Cryo and Anemo.
As a special reward for completing the new season, there will be special running effects for a number of playable characters like Diluc, Jean, Chichi, Kirara and Ningguag.
Please keep in mind that this information is from the beta version and may change in the future. If you want to know confirmed information, you need to wait for the special program 4.8.
It will take place on July 5, 2024, approximately two weeks before the release of the update itself.
