Your company data is not supposed to be in OneDrive.
The clue is in the name:
ONEdrive (one, unique) your own data. You can store your pay slips/expenses or other information here that you don't necessarily need people to see.
SHAREpoint (sharing) your company data. You might have a Sharepoint documents site for your marketing team or finance department, etc.
If you went in the wrong direction, everything is easily fixed.
