The Top 5 Holiday Cookies
This year marks my fourth holiday season of moderating the comments for Simply Recipes and it’s easily one of my favorite jobs ever. The comments you readers share create a thousand little windows into family traditions and seasonal joy. I celebrate your baking triumphs and problem-solve (“Can I trade X for Y?”) in the comment threads.
The action really ramps up in December when millions of home cooks around the world start looking for cookie recipes to bake for the holidays. I made many of the recipes below myself. They are honestly the best Christmas cookies on Simply Recipes in exact order. Many of them come from the families of our contributors passed down from generation to generation and then to the entire internet. They have truly stood the test of time.
