Outlook Sweep Feature – Awesome built-in tool to keep your inbox clean

Outlook's Sweep feature gives you the option to automatically delete all incoming emails from a particular sender, keep only the latest email, or delete emails older than 10 days (which I use all the time). Scanning is a great way to keep your inbox clean.

To use swipe
1) Open an email using Outlook on the web.
2) Click Scan
3) Choose one of four options
4) Select where to move emails.

Scan Rules
When you use Sweep, it creates rules in Outlook. Some rules are rules and others are sweep rules.

Scan Availability
Swiping is not available on desktop Outlook, but any swipes you make in Outlook on the web are reflected in Outlook on desktop. Sweep works in my personal Outlook and my work Outlook, but as noted, still web-only.
