Award-winning Cuban sandwich from El Cochinito

Before you make a sandwich yourself we would like to explain the difference between Pan Con Lechón and the Cubano another famous Cuban sandwich.

The Cubano has Cuban origins but was invented by Cuban immigrants living in Florida. The recipe for Pan Con Lechon was developed 100% on Cuban soil. The latter does not contain ham and Swiss cheese like the Cubano. This is probably the biggest difference. It is also served at room temperature and is usually not pressed which is common for the Cubano.

Either way both are delicious and worth trying. Below is a traditional Pan Con Lechón recipe.
