I came up with this because I wanted something simple yet elegant. I wanted a restaurant cheesecake flavor but something that was easy to make since I didn’t want to measure out the sour cream I was pouring into the entire pan. I also didn’t want to bake it for an hour so that’s where the 30 minute oven shutdown comes in. I turn the oven off and don’t open the door for 6 hours and leave it in the oven overnight. This will get you great reviews from friends. You won’t order cheesecake again either. If it cracks garnish it with fruit to hide the cracks.
