Since Pokémon Scarlet and Purple have been available for a while now, there is a growing problem with people hacking Pokémon and bots trading hacked Pokémon for link trades and surprise trades. Most of these Pokémon cannot be nicknamed and promote third-party websites or Discord servers where they are set up to either teach people how to hack Pokémon themselves or scam little kids for money. money by trading them shiny Pokémon of their choice which are always hacked. this has made these Pokémon worthless for trading since they are so common and not sought after by the majority of players.
