Hello, quick video on how to troubleshoot HP All-in-One Desktop PC when it won't turn on and beeps.

Many HP forums recommend users purchase new AC adapters because they may not have enough power to boot the desktop. This might still be your problem, but TRY TO REMOVE THE WIRELESS USBs FIRST.

After a scheduled update, my computer would not turn on and the screen was completely black. It emitted 3 long beeps and 4 short beeps.

First, unplug all cables from your desk, including all wireless devices like keyboard and mouse. This is crucial. There should be nothing connected.

Then press the power button for 15 seconds while it is disconnected.

Then plug the power adapter cable back into the desktop. This should be the only cable connected to your computer. Then press the power button again while it's connected.

The computer will start beeping again. 3 long beeps and 4 short beeps. They are really loud and annoying, but WAIT until the beeps sound 5 times. Almost immediately after the fifth cycle of beeps, the error screen will appear for a few seconds and disappear very quickly.

It should show a keyboard error.

If it shows unsupported adapter error, check again if you deleted the wireless USB drives. Removing wireless USB drives is essential.

After the keyboard error, a blue alert will appear indicating that the CMOS checksum is invalid. Since wireless devices are not connected, press the Enter key on the screen to restart the computer. It must be compatible with touch screens. Wait a bit for it to restart. If it doesn't restart on its own, press the power button again. It should show the HP logo on power up and a percentage.

Then simply enter your PIN with the touchscreen and wait for the system to come back. Reconnect your keyboard and mouse and reconnect to the Internet. After that, you should be good to go.

Hope this helps someone! Please let me know if this is the case! :))
Cheers!
