Say hello to rainbow chard appearance number TWO. The first time sweet this time savory. I don't know which I'm more excited about. I think I'll have to eat them both.

Kale Falafel Hummus Wraps | Minimalist Bakery Recipes
Rainbow chard is so beautiful I could stare at it all day. I mean look at the color contrasts and the bright pink veins! Get out of here. One of nature’s most perfect works of art that’s for sure.
But ultimately I want to eat it. Contrary to what some people think it’s not bitter at all. In fact it’s quite the opposite – mildly sweet and mild – making it the perfect vehicle for creamy garlic hummus (and peanut butter banana + basil).
I used my favorite hummus but if you’re short on time or prefer to buy pre-made hummus go ahead! I like to save time and effort. I just make a batch of mine every few weeks to have on hand for snacks and quick lunches.
