Switch from Docker Desktop to Rancher Desktop for local Kubernetes development

In this video I discuss my transition from Docker Desktop to Rancher Desktop for on-premises Kubernetes development due to the ongoing issues I experienced with Docker Desktop. I demonstrate my new setup using Windows PowerShell and WSL built into Ubuntu, showing how I can manage Kubernetes clusters on Windows and Linux. I highlight the clean UI, K3S integration, and features like WSL integration, container engines, WebAssembly, and built-in Traefik input management in Rancher Desktop. Additionally, I compare the VS Code Kubernetes add-on with Mirantis Lens for managing Kubernetes, highlighting the superior capabilities of Mirantis Lens for advanced debugging. This video provides information on simplifying Kubernetes management and improving stability with Rancher Desktop and Mirantis Lens.
