Q: Does this video apply to my issues?
A: This video is for computers that have no signs of life and appear "dead." This will also help if you see minimal signs of life, such as only lights or hard drive/fan noises, but they stop right away. If you are able to see something on the screen at any time or the hard drive/fan sound stays on, your problem could be something else. Leave me a message with your exact symptoms and I can direct you to the right video 🙂
Q: I tried all the steps presented here without identifying the problem 🙁
A: If after trying all these steps several times you have not been able to find the problem, it is probably a faulty component preventing the motherboard from working or a motherboard problem. You can also try replacing other components like your power button to see if that's the cause of the problem. If none of these issues are a problem, then you will be left with a motherboard replacement.
