The blueberry tea cocktail is both misleading and surprising. That’s because there are no blueberries or blueberry-flavored ingredients in it. Instead the flavor of this hot drink is surprisingly reminiscent of the sweet berries.

How to Make a Blueberry Tea Cocktail – Bar Talk & Cocktails Ep11

The recipe is actually quite simple and it is nothing more than tea with a hint of spices served in a fancy glass. And yet that does not detract from the wonders of this hot cocktail. The steaming combination of Grand Marnier amaretto and black tea is fascinating and an absolute delight for the senses.

By using a brandy glass instead of a teacup or coffee mug the scent is trapped inside. The glass is further accented with an orange wheel that floats on top of the tea. In essence it is a drink that gives as much to your nose as it does to your mouth.

“Blueberry Tea is a warm cocktail made with freshly brewed orange pekoe tea orange liqueur and amaretto liqueur. Somehow the combination of those three ingredients creates a delicious warm cocktail that definitely tastes like blueberries! This would be a perfect drink for a cold evening.” —Joan Velush
