1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius.
Melt the sugar in a heavy saucepan over low heat stirring constantly. Cook until the sugar turns into a golden brown syrup about 10 minutes. Immediately pour into a round baking dish swirling it around so that the caramel syrup coats the sides of the dish. Set aside to cool.
