How to make easy pulled pork in the slow cooker – the easiest way

Thanks to the power of a slow cooker you can largely cook your meat and forget about it—until it’s time to remove it from the braising juices and shred it into tender bite-sized pieces. Pulled pork is the perfect meal to serve to a crowd and this recipe makes it a whole lot easier. Grab some rolls and coleslaw for the ultimate comfort food experience or mix it up with an assortment of sides.

For this recipe you will need to thinly slice onions and garlic cloves. Next grab chicken stock or low sodium chicken broth. To flavor the meat grab dark brown sugar (measure it firmly) chili powder kosher salt ground cumin and ground cinnamon. Grab a boneless or bone-in pork shoulder (also known as pork butt) and make sure to remove any string or netting that may be holding it. Finally grab your favorite BBQ sauce.

Place the onions and garlic in an even layer in the slow cooker and pour in the stock.
