I am so glad I came across this amazing recipe. My 8 year old son and I made these and absolutely fell in love!!! He said we could win Top Chef with these cake bars and I would have to agree!

Roald Dahl wrote a book called Matilda and now I'm eating chocolate cake for breakfast.
This is not just any chocolate cake by the way. Think of it more as a perfectly dense and moist flourless (almost) chocolate cake that only requires 5 ingredients and can be baked into bars and is topped with the world's best and most chocolatey and simplest frosting. THAT is what I eat for breakfast.
