This is one of my favorite old fashioned sweet potato bread recipes that I got from my grandmother. My grandmother made this bread as a sweet treat but it was also delicious for breakfast.

1 ¼ cup white sugar
1 ⅔ cup sifted self-raising flour
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
