Recently while rummaging through my mother's old recipe file I came across a photocopy of a handwritten recipe for zucchini cake. The recipe is in the handwriting of my grandmother my father's mother.
She was the baker in the family (a title now passed down to my father). She moved from St. Paul to Los Angeles to live with us when I was four.
