I love using that word.

What is a swede? Well it is a kind of large turnip that looks like a sweet potato. It is yellow inside and tastes a bit like a turnip but a little less bitter. It is also called a "Swede" or a Swedish turnip.

I don’t think you can escape Minnesota without having your share of rutabagas and my dad is no exception. He loves them. He throws them in anything that needs root vegetables.
