Old fashioned peach pie
I could go on and on about my love of pie. The crust flakes the sweet filling that sugary sparkle on the crust but I'll spare you.
Peach pie with fresh peach filling is at the top of my list of favorite things to make and eat. One of my earliest memories is sitting on my grandfather’s shoulders picking peaches off the trees in an orchard in California taking that first bite and letting the juices run down my arm.
For me this is a summer memory and I think every baker should have peach pie in their recipe box.
