How to make a butter fried steak
Summer is made for the grill but what’s a steak lover to do when the weather is too cold and wet to fire one up? Just cook it indoors. Indeed pan-seared steaks have several distinct advantages over grilled steaks enough that sometimes you might just opt to go pan-fried given the two options. While grilling gives you a quick-fire crust on your steak with all those lovely crispy almost charred bits and a nice smoky flavour I find that the even golden brown crust you can develop in a hot cast iron pan really accentuates and lets the flavour of the beef itself shine. Plus pan-frying gives you the opportunity to add your own flavourings in the form of aromatics.

Of course you have to know how to do it before you can do it.
