In my husband’s family we have a tradition of making several appetizers for Christmas Eve dinner. My sister-in-law brought these over one year and they have been a favorite of ours ever since. I generally don’t use large stuffed mushrooms but you can use them if you are serving them as a first or second course at a formal dinner. Instead I use regular mushrooms so that about 15 people can eat two or three per person.
