You know what I like? Ice cream cones. And I’ll have them any way I can get them. Fresh waffle cones standard sugar cones even the paper waffle cones that wrap my Mr. Softee they’re all good. Wouldn’t it be great if we could have an ice cream cone that tasted just like a cone?
I’ve had this dream for a while now but haven’t quite made it happen yet because while making cone-flavored ice cream is pretty easy it does take some work to get the texture right. You know that moment when you’ve gotten through the top of an ice cream scoop and the outer edge of the cone is starting to soften and you finally take a bite? That squishy bite of a cone is one of my favorite ice cream experiences and it’s the texture I wanted in my cone ice cream.
