Have you ever heard of baked taro fries? For all you AIP eaters nightshade intolerants and healthy chip lovers out there this recipe is a game changer! Yams are a great replacement for regular potatoes but if you’re tired of that sweet taste and want something a little starchier taro is a great alternative. Taro is a delicious root vegetable that I grew to love while living in Macau. One of my favorite things to do while I was there was go to the Chinese grocery store and try to figure out what all those fruits and vegetables were (yes the labels were only in Chinese!). Serve as a delicious snack or as a side dish with a salad.
