The other night I was up late editing some photos and was feeling a bit of the old late night hunger pangs. When I realized I was out of pickles to wrap in slices of Swiss cheese (my go-to meal that I eat in the warm light of the fridge) I saw the carton of eggs and remembered Daniel’s great tutorial on how to make a Spanish tortilla. I quickly grabbed my phone to check my grocery list to see if I was out of potatoes but then stopped myself because I realized I could find the answer much faster by looking at the potato bin next to me. It was empty.
Luckily I had a fridge full of leftover vegetables and cheese. My tongue turned to my stomach flashing electrical signals through a vast tunnel of synaptic openings to pronounce a single word in three syllables: frit- ta- ta.
