I thought I would do a quick post for those of you who would like to see what I pack to eat when I travel. I have one more day in Hong Kong before I fly back to San Francisco and I will be sad to leave. This trip has gone by way too fast – Hong Kong is an amazing city and the people could not be nicer friendlier or more generous. Lots of pictures and a little video to come. In the meantime I made these little dumplings for the flight. They are protein-packed pureed red lentils with deeply roasted cherry tomatoes and a simple smoked paprika and garlic oil. I wanted to top them off with a simple basil oil but I didn't want to miss my flight. More to come! -h
